Ciel et rochers, St-Guénolé

February 2024. Brittany, Finistère, Pays Bigouden, Penmarc’h, Saint-Guénolé and finally the Far West gallery. Ten days in residence. Ten days of immersion.
The Pays Bigouden lies in the southwest of Cornouaille, in the Finistère department of Brittany. It has no administrative existence and no clearly defined geographical borders: it is neither a natural region nor a province. It is a cultural area, home to women and men who share the same traditions, customs and beliefs. A land that needs no borders to exist. I followed this thread to create images in which the people of this territory and its landscapes intertwine and overlap.
