One thing is clear: Sète is a unique, astonishing, singular, mysterious town. A home port for poets, sailors and lost souls... Bertrand Desprez has always been eclectic in his photographic choices, moving from abstraction to documentary realism, but he is above all a humanist photographer, observing the relationship between people and their environment. Portraits, landscapes, still lifes between shadow and light. He has gathered a few images that attempt to trace the contrasts of this town of a thousand facets.
