To Be #11

Captivated by Calder, I travel like a tightrope walker, balancing between shadow and light.
“To Be”, or “Être(s)” (Being(s)), is an inner journey, a quest for identity. When the images take shape, in a fleeting burst of light, the moment is fragile before it suddenly vanishes. Shadows trace the outline of a face, an abstract self-portrait. Taut lines cut through space to compose an illuminated score. “To Be”: mysterious flashes, like complex equations whose set of solutions creates a human landscape.
Every day is a new game. Chance encounters, tableaux appear: abstract compositions, the swiftness of a traveling light. A sudden apparition on which my gaze comes to rest. Being is a quest, a daily metamorphosis. I slip between shadow and light, finding my way back to simplicity.
